Bishop Dr. E.R. Upsher Senior Pastor
Our Shepherd, Bishop, Dr. E.R. Upsher (known as Mick) was called to preach the gospel in March of 1996, licensed to minister the gospel in March of 1998, ordained May of 1999 and called to Pastor May 2000.
He is a loving husband, father and grandfather. Married to his Brown Sugar, Vi for 37 years. He is the father of two, Duane and Teresa and grandfather of four.
He is a graduate of National Bible College of Temple Hills, Maryland, with an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies and a Bachelors Degree in Christian Education. He also has a Master's in Leadership Development and Doctrine of Ministry in Leadership from Faith University and School. Also Dr Upsher is a John C. Maxwell Certified Coach, Mentor and Trainer.
Bishop Upsher also has an Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Lyons Technical Institute, Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering from Rochville University, Sarasota, Florida.
He has been shepherding New Generation Freedom International Bible Church for fourteen years. The scripture that turned his life around is Romans 8:2 "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, has made me free, from the law of sin and death." He loves teaching the Word of God to those who want a better understanding of their life in Christ, and to find their calling and gifts through the Word of God. He has a compassion for God's people. Most of all he is glad to be a Christian Soldier in the Army of God.
